Like all parents, I also want my child to have an additional hobby/skillset/for DSA (if possible).
At age 4 or 5, average kids don’t really know what they want. This is the time to explore and experience new activities, let them discover their interest and abilities. Enrichment lessons in Singapore are about $1000 per term (1 term = 3 months est $300+ per mth) this does not include competition training fees, instruments and accessories. We love our child and want them to blossom but we do not want to sign the package or buy the instruments and few months down the road they lose interest in that hobby.
Here is how I assisted my kids in choosing their hobby/enrichment 
1. Sign up for trial classes (Piano, Art, Robotics)
During these trial lessons (paid/free short sessions), the teacher will provide feedback if they are suitable.
2. Check OnePA / Udemy for affordable basic courses
OnePA – Large class size, good for basic learning and see if he is able to maintain interest
Udemy – Self learning, no teacher to guide
3. Sign up for advances courses with specialized trainers
If they are still keen on the hobby they chose we will enrol them in private enrichment centres or one to one lessons. watch them grow! Due to time and cost limitation, we agreed on 1 enrichment (their choice) per child. Its also better for them to focus and practice.
Another additional enrichment we sign them up was religion classes every Saturday.
